Baroque Mandolin with Katsia Prakopchyk
Katsia Prakopchyk, Soloist, Chamber musician and
Lecturer at the Musikschule Leipzig "J.S. Bach"
The course addresses all friends of the mandolin, who want to improve their skills. Here they will have the opportunity to meet and work in a relaxed and pleasant environment. Solo and chamber music repertoire, as well as basic technical issues, are the main focus of this course. The participants will intensively work individually on the realization of one's own targets, the preparation of concerts, competitions and auditions. The course attaches importance to a healthy posture and pain free playing the instrument.
In addition to individual lessons there will be the possibility to play chamber music with participants of the parallel courses for recorder, baroque violin and harpsichord. You are welcome to bring your own choice of music. A list of proposals for chamber music can be send on request.
